Preface
This website presents my perspective on writing in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), with a focus on writing about statistical data analysis. Most of its rules also apply to informative prose in general. I intend to give it to academic mentees as a style guide reference, and also use it as a notebook for myself.
The Introduction describes the book’s scope and readers, and how to use its chapters. The Summary lists the book’s main rules as a checklist for revising a draft.
