Marine & Coastal Science · 4 credits

Large and complex data sets are ubiquitous features of Earth and Marine Science investigations. Students will become familiar with different ways to access and manage data sets and practice workflows including reading digital datasets, performing analysis operations from very simple (e.g. simple statistical analysis) to complex (e.g. advanced regression and time series spectral analysis), and visualizing complex datasets through plotting and mapping for georeferenced data.
