ANTH 586: Research Mentorship

A seminar style class to discuss progress and issues in thesis development at various stages: writing a thesis topic proposal, submitting grant proposals and IRB proposals, and the logistics of conducting research. Other topics will include standards for professional writing and giving professional presentations. Students will be expected to present their thesis proposal in this venue. Repeatable for a minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 credits.
